YOUNG WOMEN IN HARMONY

Here Comes Treble is the new Lake Erie Region 17 - Sweet Adelines Young Women in Harmony championship quartet, sponsored by Greater Harmony Chorus. The quartet members are Ariel Clifford, tenor, a senior from Mars Area High School; Hannah Clifford, bass, junior, from Mars Area High School. These women are sisters. Other members are Catriona Reynolds, lead, sophomore from Knoch High School, and Maeve Hendricks, baritone, senior from Obama Academy, Pittsburgh Public Schools. Maeve’s grandmother sings with Greater Harmony Chorus. These young women were coached by Lynn Ross, tenor, from GHC and Jennifer Fogle, lead of Sidekicks Quartet, and GHC. The quartet is eligible to compete in the Rising Star Contest of Sweet Adelines International in 2014.
Young Women In Harmony teaches emerging voices the skills, joy and rewards of performing and singing four-part harmony, barbershop style. Young Women in Harmony delivers both musical excellence and education while it gives young women a taste of show business. This program provides educational tools to teach young women singers the joy of performing this American vocal music art form.

Greater Harmony Chorus is always looking for new members. Please learn more information about the chorus at their website www.greaterharmony.org.
